Sports People - Visas for professional sportspeople. Please note that sponsorship may be required.

Religious Workers - For persons who intend to undertake full-time religious work which will directly serve an organisation's religious objectives and for which the applicant has relevant religious training. Note that a sponsorship must be approved in Australia before the application can be lodged.

Occupational Trainees - The occupational trainee visa allows foreign nationals to undertake a supervised, workplace-based training program in Australia. Note that you must have an approved nomination from DIAC Australia before applying.

Charges & Fees
Visa application charges are payable in the form of a single demand draft for Indian Rupees, in favour of the Australian High Commission, New Delhi. Information on current visa application charges for each visa subclass can be found at: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/990i.htm. A currency converter is also provided at this link to assist you to convert the current fee in Australian dollars to Indian Rupees.
Application charges can be paid at the service delivery partner’s Visa application centres . A service fee is also charged by the service delivery partner for each application lodged through a Visa application centre. Please note that fees and charges are non-refundable, even if applications are withdrawn or refused.

Processing time
Most applications are finalised within 2 months. However, it is advisable to lodge your application 3 months before you intend to travel.
